Position Summary:

The Meinders School of Business at Oklahoma City University is accepting applications for a nine-month non-tenure track Visiting Assistant/Associate Professor of Economics beginning in August 2026. The rank will depend upon the qualifications of the finalist.

 The selected applicant will teach a 4-4 course load and be required to maintain a research agenda with publications in respected journals.  Teaching responsibilities may include undergraduate and graduate economics courses, both online and face-to-face. 

Preferred Qualifications:

Applicants should hold a Ph.D. in economics or be ABD with a short time to expected defense from an accredited university and have a demonstrated record of teaching excellence with an ability to teach a variety of economics-related undergraduate and graduate courses. Applicants must also demonstrate an active research program in an economics discipline. Applicants from any Economics specialization are encouraged to apply.
