Position Summary: Oklahoma City University Law School seeks a part-time clinic coordinator to work in The Housing Eviction Legal Assistance Program (HELP) providing administrative support services and performing other related duties. Minimum Qualifications:
A minimum of three years’ experience as a legal assistant, paralegal or other position responsible for providing legal administrative and/or clerical support is required.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in higher education is preferred.
Job Duties:
• Handle all clerical and support operations of the Housing Eviction Legal Assistance Program (HELP) Clinic.
• Coordinate and supervise student staffing of the reception area of the HELP Clinic during all hours of operation.
• Manage calendars and schedule appointments and meetings for the clients, clinic students, and professor.
• Review and manage daily mail, answer telephones and take messages and return calls as necessary.
• Prepare reports containing client data, track client information.
• Provide accurate information and friendly, effective assistance and support to all visitors.
• Maintain office machinery and paper supplies; Track and re-order office supplies. Keep center clean, stocked, and organized; Maintain appropriate and professional appearance of the HELP Clinic.
• Maintain confidentiality of all clients; exercise discretion at all times.
• Maintain up-to-date event information related to the HELP Clinic
• Maintain a good understanding of the value of customer service and stewardship to all constituencies on behalf of the HELP Clinic.
• Prepare reports regarding clinic data for grants and needs to further the clinic mission.

• Must have excellent telephone and oral communication skills; present a positive professional, positive demeanor at all times.
• Use clear, correct and effective communication using the English language.
• Ability to effectively communicate and demonstrate an appreciation for diverse constituents.
• Must demonstrate excellent customer service skills; be service oriented at all times.
• Must be highly organized.
• Works cooperatively with others and accepts direction from supervisors.
• Must be proficient in all programs of MS Office Suite.
• Must be proficient in internet and web search skills.
• Excellent time management skills with ability to multi-task.
• Must possess basic computation skills.
• Must handle confidential information with appropriate discretion.
• Ability to acquire computer applications and software knowledge quickly.

Compensation and Duration:
This position is guaranteed for 12 months with potential renewal dependent on funding. The estimated salary range for this position is $25,000-$30,000 per year, plus benefits including medical, dental, and vision coverage, retirement plan, flexible spending accounts, life insurance, and voluntary plans. Grant-funded positions are ineligible for tuition assistant programs and the shared leave bank. . The salary offered will be based on the successful candidate’s relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, and in consideration of internal equity.

• Constantly operates a computer and other office machinery.
• Constantly visually identifies, observes, and assesses.
• Frequently communicates with university constituents.
• Frequently remains in a stationary position (standing and/or sitting). Occasionally moves to accomplish tasks and/or to get from one worksite to another.
• Occasionally moves common office materials.
Working Conditions:
1. Work is primarily indoors, but at times may be required to be in an outdoor environment when traveling between campus buildings or off campus.
2. Will be exposed to frequent noise caused by telephones and office machines.
3. Standard office hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday; some overtime may be required.
4. Off-campus, state and regional travel may be required.
