Position Summary:
The Meinders School of Business at Oklahoma City University invites applications for a nine-month, tenure-track faculty position beginning in August 2026. Rank will depend upon qualifications of the finalist.
The Meinders School of Business is an AACSB accredited school and is in search of individuals who can provide academic leadership in building the finance area. All faculty members participate in the school’s assessment program as well as student recruiting and retention efforts for both the school and the university. Scholarly activities and research commensurate with other duties are essential to success.
Qualifications
Candidates should hold a Ph.D. in Finance or be ABD (All But Dissertation) with evidence of a well-developed research agenda in their area of specialization.
The ability to teach a range of finance courses at both the undergraduate and graduate levels is required. Professional work experience in finance or related fields outside of academia is preferred.
Additional qualifications – such as business or management experience, consulting, online teaching experience, or professional certifications – are also desirable.
Promotion and Tenure
Effective teaching, scholarship and service are required for promotion and tenure. Additional requirements are established by each school or college.

Review of applications will begin in September and will continue until the position is filled.
Members of the search committee will be attending the Financial Management Association Annual Meeting in Vancouver, Canada in October and will be available to interested applicants for informational exchanges.
